Our Student Ambassadors are current graduate or undergraduate students at the University of Chicago. They are excited to share their own experiences and help you with any question regarding the program applications or the UChicago experience.

Misha Berrien is a graduate student at the Harris School of Public Policy. Before coming to Harris, she helped manage study abroad program in her position as Program and Outreach Coordinator at the University of Chicago Center in Beijing. Misha received her BA in East Asian Studies from the University of Chicago.
Ankit works as a Program Coordinator for the summer program at Harris School. He is a student at Harris school doing Master of Arts in Public Policy with Certificate in Research Methods (MACRM). Prior to joining Harris, he was working with Bloomberg New Energy Finance as Renewable Energy Analyst. He has over 6 years of work experience in the Indian energy sector. He is a trekking enthusiast and never misses any cycling opportunities.
Sang-Oun Lee is a graduate student at the Harris School of Public Policy, the University of Chicago. Before coming to Harris, he was a Member of Engineering Staff of the National Security Research Institute, Daejeon, Korea, specializing in Cybersecurity Policy research. Mr. Lee holds a Master’s Degree in Technology Management, Economics, and Policy Program from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, and Bachelor’s Degree in International Liberal Arts from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.
Alice is a 1st Year MSESP student at Harris. She is excited to be part of this summer scholar program team and looking forward to welcoming international students to UChicago's campus in Hyde Park. Before coming to study at Harris, Alice had worked on various projects and campaigns on environmental sustainability, both on college campuses and at local communities. As a public policy student, Alice is interested in exploring the relationship between nature and human to have a better understanding of surrounding ecology and society, thus better informing environmental policy. Alice holds a B.S degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Jijun is a first-year MPP student at Harris School of Public Policy. Before coming to Harris, Jijun has been working as campaign canvasser for the local campaign and research assistant in the public sector. As an MPP student, Jijun is particularly interested in international development and wants to pursue policy research in the future. Jijun holds a B.A. degree in International Political Economy from Pitzer College.
As a first-year MPP student at Harris, Tongyi is interested in health policy and economic policy. Tongyi has had various internship experiences in the consulting, finance and non-profit sectors before coming to Harris.
Leon Chin is a current second year student in the College at UChicago studying Economics and Political Science. Outside of the classroom, he is a tour guide in the Office of Admissions and is involved with the RSO (Registered Student Organization), campusCatalyst, a consulting group that advises Chicago based non-profits.
